This winter, PMDI Performance Company will be hosting our annual dance camp for kids ages 3-8. Campers will get the opportunity to participate in the PMDI Winter Ballet: Lullaby Land. This year, the campers will play the role of lambs in one of the dances and be able to watch the rest of the show from the audience with their family.

Camp Day 1: The Pure Movement Dance Institute Studio Saturday, November 16th from 10:15am-11:45am Camp Day 2: The Pure Movement Dance Institute Studio Saturday, November 23rd from 10:15am-11:45am Studio Rehearsal: The Pure Movement Dance Institute Studio Saturday, December 7th, 30 Minute Rehearsal (Time TBA) Performance Day and Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, December 14th Lincoln North Star High School Auditorium On Stage Rehearsal, Time TBA Show Times - 2:00pm (Show A) OR 5:00pm (Show B) Dancers will be assigned Show A or B on the first day of camp. |
Cost: $75
The cost will include two days of dance camp, rehearsal to learn the dance with our PMPC Dancers, and a snack and activity or craft each day of camp. Snacks will be sent home with the dancers at the end and not eaten during camp. Dancers will attend a dress rehearsal at the studio a week before the performance. They will then attend a full dress rehearsal on stage the day of the show and perform during one of the two show times. The cost also includes their costume and 2 tickets, one for a parent or guardian and one for their camper for whichever show the dancer is in so that they may watch the rest of the show once they are done performing.

To register your student, click the register here button above. This will direct you to the camp registration form. The deposit of $25 must be made by November 8th to guarantee a costume will be available. The remaining balance of $50 is due the first day of camp as cash or check made out to PMDI.
Please note, participating dancers DO NOT need to be enrolled at PMDI or have any prior dance experience. Any additional accessories will be provided with the costume. Costume is subject to change based on availability. No shoes or tights will be needed. Dancers will be split into two groups, for Show A and Show B, on the first day of camp. Please inform us if you would like your camper to be in the same group as another camper and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
